Dear Valued Customer
Finally after an unprecedented period of ‘lock down’ we are now closing in on a date when catering outlets will finally be allowed to re-open (subject to prevailing social distancing requirements).
Like yourselves we at Windsor Foodservice have had to react quickly and put measures in place to ensure that overheads have been kept under tight control including utilising the Governments furlough scheme for the majority of our staff across all departments.
Throughout the ‘lock down period’ we have continued to offer a delivery service to all areas but on a restricted basis and we have worked very hard in conjunction with our suppliers to make every effort to maintain adequate stock levels in preparation for the ‘re-start’.
As we emerge from this nightmare it is difficult to know how quickly things will pick-up and what the ‘new normal’ will be. We would therefore ask all customers to give us as much notice as possible of your forthcoming re-opening plans and requirements and to speak directly to telesales between 9.00am and 4.30pm we can then tailor our staffing levels and delivery service to fulfil your requirements.

30 years of foodservice innovation
Windsor Foodservice started with humble beginnings in rented premises in Sheffield by current Chief Executive - Peter Whitehead.
Following this, we moved to Birdwell near Barnsley in 1992. However, due to continued growth of the business, Windsor Foodservice outgrew this facility, prompting the acquisition of a purpose-built head office and distribution warehouse in Dearne Valley from 2002.
Our next development was creating Petes Patisserie, a high-end luxury dessert range, running from our second tailor-made facility and distribution depot in Castle Donnington. In 2017, we expanded again, developing our on-site butchery - Windsor Fresh Meat - offering top quality meat products at competitive prices.
We now employ almost 100 staff members, serving in excess of 3000 catering customers with over 3000 quality products.
We are delighted and proud to have served caterers since 1989 and thank you for helping us reach this anniversary. Our newest venture is developing our online ordering system, enabling customers to order with ease.
