Windsor Foodservice were originally established in 1989 by the
present Managing Director, Peter Whitehead. Initially operating
from rented premises in Sheffield the business has consistently
grown and developed over the years and is now well established as
a leading independent player in the foodservice industry.
The business, which now operates from purpose built premises in
the Dearne Valley has developed in response to customer demand with
the introduction of ambient and chilled products into the Windsor
range in 1998. The range of products available now exceeds 2000
different lines. All products are available via a comprehensive
delivery service and are transported and delivered on a fleet of
modern multi-temp. vehicles.
Windsor have always believed in re-investing for the future, whether
that be in staff training, IT systems, storage facilities or its
distribution fleet, and are always looking to develop their range
further with the planned introduction of many new and often unique
new products in the coming months. The objective being to provide
an unrivalled service to all their customers.
The company also benefits from ISO9001 quality assurance accreditation
for the storage and distribution of frozen, chilled and ambient
